Thanksgiving in the Far East

Cathy was intent on getting Jess back to the "old country" to meet her family, so over Thanksgiving weekend she whisked the girls off to New York and New Jersey for a whirlwind tour. I'm not keen on visiting 3rd world areas so I declined the invit (Just kidding). Anyway the girls had a great time and saw lots of cool stuff.
Their first stop was New York city. They couldn't get a reasonable room in the city so they actually stayed across the river in New Jersey and crossed over on a fairy. Jaimie has been getting into some operas and really wanted to see one on Broadway, so they went to see The Phantom of the Opera one night. New York was a real zoo, so after walking around Time Square, doing some shopping, and Broadway they had pretty much had enough of the mob scene. Originally they wanted to take the ferry over to see the Statue of Liberty but instead decided just to view it from the New Jersey side. Not sure what the significance of this bell is but I think this is some park dedicated to Hamilton (one of our presidents, not George).
Thanksgiving was spent with Cathy's family at her older sister Lee, and
brother-in-law Jimmy's house. Lee went up to New York with the girls to see the Phantom, and she managed to get some pole dancing in while she was there. (Man..I'm really going to be in trouble when I go back to visit next time!) There were lots of cousins to see, and Jaimie and Jess spent some time staying with Cathy's younger sister Janice, and her kids. Check out cute little Ava.All, and all they had a great time and Jess got to see another part of the United States while she was here. Hard to believe her time is about up, and Jaimie will be headed Down Under.
