Our Yearly Blizzard of the Century

We get one of these just about every year. You know...the major snow storm that snarls traffic, shuts down the city, and closes roads and businesses. The news media goes nuts over this stuff. (Actually that's a relief after the "Balloon Boy" fiasco). The only thing really unusual about this is that it's October and we just don't get these kinds of storms this early in the season. But this and the antelope hunt experience confirms global warming. Or was it global cooling? I just don't know anymore....I guess I'll have to read the paper and have them tell me what to think.
Never the less the schools are out, and so is work so it's a 4 1/2 day weekend for everyone....whoo-hoo!
Looks like we're going to weight in with about 2 1/2 feet. It's supposed to warm up to the 50's in the next couple of days so look out for the big melt off.
